Melbourne Museum

Melbourne Museum was wonderful. We were there from 10am to 5pm, I think we can say we saw just about everything.

When entering you see this amazing skeleton of a Pigmy Blue Whale. This is the front.

This is the back of the whale. Although this species is classified as a Pigmy it is still the biggest creature to ever have lived.

Dinosaur trail. Again, I’ve been and done this before but I was only 4 then; the age Jacob is now. I was looking forward to showing Jacob.

Here is the Megafauna section, loved this!

This interesting display had skulls and skeletons broken down into sections of every bone.

An Alligator Snapping Turtle with many pieces. I can’t remember how many pieces there were exactly.
