Cape Conran

We moved onto Cape Conran, in Victoria, where we were the only ones staying at the caravan park, lovely and quiet. We had our first camp fire. The beach was made from all shells instead of sand with massive rocks all around. We did some exploring in the rock pools.

I found a small fish swimming in a rock pool.

We found a few specimens, beautiful crabs with colours and marking we hadn’t seen before.

This Limpet was really large. Dad pulled this one up so I could have a good look then we put it back where we found it.

This is a close up of the Limpet foot. It is like a suction cup to hold it on tight to the rocks when the waves come crashing in.
